Just a reminder of the annual NSBS Pt. Michaud field trip, a little later this year on Saturday, August 27th. We'll be looking for late migrant shorebirds and other birds as we walk the beach and check out the brackish ponds behind the dunes. We will be wading through a shallow brook, so wear old sneakers or other appropriate footwear. We'll meet at the Dept. of Highways garage in St. Peter's at 8:30 A.M. and carpool to drive about 15-20 minutes to the beach. Afterwards, a light lunch will be served at a location to be determined.
