Last night while watching Canada Day fireworks at Ross Creek, an AM.WOODCOCK flew right by. This morning during a 45 minute stroll in the woods by the cottage I saw/ heard 18 species, including WINTER WREN, SWAINSON'S THRUSH, and families of AM. REDSTART and WHITE-THR. SPARROW. I went over to Scott's Bay this morning to photograph the BALD EAGLE's nest, and indeed as mentioned by Jim, it's easy to photograph, and there are 2 young - one bigger than the other. There were also BOBOLINKS and SAVANNAH SPARROWS in the field nest to it. Richard -- ################# Richard Stern, 317 Middle Dyke Rd.
