Index of Subjects
Index of Subjects I spent today in the backyard doing repairs on our deck. Kept a close watch on what was happening around our flower beds & managed a few photos. The best ones were, similar to fishing, the ones that got away. When I came out, I failed to immediately notice a Question Mark (butterfly) so no photo. Unfortunately I have never photographed one. Later I found a Robber Fly attempting to get a spider out of its web. As I attempted to get a better angle, it literally ripped the spider out & flew. I understand Robber Flies have very strong venom so likely the spider was already dead. I did manage the following photos: Ruby-throated Hummingbird Long-legged Fly (2 photos) Hobomok's Skipper Goldenrod Crab Spider with victim http://www.flickr.com/photos/58321572@N00/5886077278/in/photostream As before click on the thumbnail to the right for the next pic.
