Hi All=2C
   I photographed these tracks in the sand on Cabot Landing Beach=2C near B=
urnt Head Cove a few weeks ago and was puzzled as to source. I've showed th=
em to a number of experts and gotten a range of answers mostly related to s=
quirrel.=20

   The diameter of the scope used for scale is about 3.25". Each set of pri=
nts was  about 6.5"- 7" and around 13" apart. They do look like squirrel tr=
acks=3B although the pattern is not the normal 'V' shape. There are no Gray=
 Squirrels here=2C as far as I know=2C and the prints seem far too large fo=
r Red Squirrel. Whomever made the tracks either swam a 12' channel or walke=
d hundreds of feet of beach to get to the spot we saw the footprints.
     Any suggestions are welcome.
