Thanks for the excellent suggestions. When I relayed the ideas to my sister in Pugwash today, she said it was now doing battle with the side-view mirrors of her car. I suggested to just go out & cover them with a cloth of some kind. She was definitely going to put a turned on floor lamp in her livingroom in front of her picture window if it returned there, this evening. But bar soap smeared on her window, nope... (mind you, I thought that was an excellent idea!).
