To vi= ew the clip, Google "youtube temperance street swifts" or follow the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3D8DwVh9bp3KA . I stopped in at the school o= n my way home to Port Bickerton last Friday (June 10 2011) and took a few p= hotos as well, posted on my Flickr site http://www.flickr.com/photos/ally_k= z/5832910863/ (or go to Flickr.com and search "Temperance Street"). Ken co= unted between 550-600 swifts that night, which was a clear, calm but chilly= evening at 11 degrees C (he hadn't yet totaled up the numbers when I left = for home). Another amazing natural spectacle. They're not the best photos, and I'm sure some of the very talented photogr= aphers on the listerv could do much better (hint, hint-I am looking for add= itional Chimney Swift photos).
