Many thanks for shari= ng it Rick.=20 =20 Date: Thu=2C 9 Jun 2011 12:43:17 -0300 Subject: [NatureNS] Great Crested Flycatcher update=2C Middleton From: dendroica.caerulescens@gmail.com To: naturens@chebucto.ns.ca Just an update on this bird=2C as reported here by Andy Dean=2C in Middleto= n. The nest box that is being used is in the back yard at 20 Park Street. T= here are a number of other nest boxes on this street=2C so you want to know= the number. The bird we saw was perched directly above the box=2C which is= painted green. From the street=2C you can just barely see the box on the l= eft side of the house. You may have to crouch a bit. We were told the house= owners are OK with visitors but we didn't speak with them ourselves. You a= re likely to hear the bird(s) from the street. We did=2C but could not see = one until we saw it right above the box. (We were led into the backyard by = Ian=2C who happened along & knows the owners.) I did get a rather nice photo. http://rickwhitman.smugmug.com/Nature/Birds-June-2011/17339139_s8DKjh#13292= 89977_ZjfWdcX --=20 Rick Whitman = --_bde13fb6-8d93-44d9-910f-3de3e9e3a85d_ Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <html> <head> <style><!-- .hmmessage P { margin:0px=3B padding:0px } body.hmmessage { font-size: 10pt=3B font-family:Tahoma } --></style> </head> <body class=3D'hmmessage'> What a nice picture of that Great Crested Flycatcher.
