My first visit this year to Sandhill park - fog, wind, two four wheelers -
I saw only two birds - a piping plover and a tern that was flying away so
fast that I could not tell what kind of tern it was. There are usually a
couple of piping plover in that same area and a tern that helps protect
them.
I could not see much because of the fog, but it seemed obvious that there
has been a lot of changes in the sand on the beach during the last year.

Roland.
