Dear All, May 2, 2011 In North Alton on Sunday, Apr 30, I looked at a patch of Trillium erectum because several blossoms were just starting to open. This morning, a clear majority of the plants of flowering size (18 of 30) in this patch had been chewed off (roughly just below the leaves so I suspect deer). I don't recall having seen this before.
