Date: April 19/111

An excellent point, and a bigger issue, in my book, than doggie-do in a
rural park.

And on a related topic, how about dogs on beaches, especially when migrating
shorebirds are present? I recognize that dog-owners are faced with
ever-increasing restrictions on where they can allow their animals to run
off-leash, but somehow the culture of dog-ownership has to be made aware
that along with all the other responsibilities, social responsibility is
included.
