Went to R. Lauff's in hopes of seeing the Black Vulture but no luck, =
there was a Bald Eagle there though... =

Thanks for the hospitality Randy, loved your solar setup.

Went on to Ogdens Pond, what a racket there with hundreds of ringbill & =
Herring Gulls diving and washing as you first go in, later in photos I =
see they were coming up with small long fish. There were two Great Blue =
Herons fishing there too. Nice place!

On to Cape George, no birds there at all but beautiul spot, have to get =
back this way after the leaves come on. Around the point I went down =
into a small water fall on Horseshoe Brook...

Went out to Big Island, quite a few Red-Brested Mergansers there, some =
showing off for the girls. Common Goldeneye there, 15 or so. A few =
Canadian Geese and some Great Black-Backed Gulls.

There were some Green-Winged Teal close to the bridge in Merigomish =
along with other common birds and an immature eagle.

Off for a late dinner at Sharons Place on Front St. in Pictou, yummy pan =
fried haddock, best to go late as a very busy spot near noon.

A good day even without the vulture sighting.

All the best,
