I believe the rusty blackbird is a species at risk now, and, for any such species, it would be nice to give numbers seen, which can then be forwarded to authorities in Dept. of Nat. Resources, Can. Wildl. Service, Bird Studies Canada, and any other interested groups. And, of course, all lists of birds that include estimates of numbers seen for each species are much more inherently useful and interesting. Cheers from Jim in Wolfville.
