Jeannie Shermerhorn Jeannie, If Cape George isn't in the location database for the Great Backyard Bird Count, you probably will have to be content entering your rural route postal code which will be recorded in a manner such as "B0A 1A0 town-where-the-route-starts." In your case, I presume, that may be Port Hawkesbury. This is not very precise because rural routes may be up to 50 or more km long, but for mapping purposes it does place the observations you report in the right district of Nova Scotia. Rural areas that have switched to civic number addressing do not have this problem, because Canada Post then assigns codes tied to their local communities. Good luck with your observations, David Christie Harvey, Albert Co., NB E4H 2M9 (formerly Albert, NB E0A 1A0) http://www3.nbnet.nb.ca/maryspt
