Black-backed Woodpecker Feb. 19 "Old Nictaux Road" aka trail to Little River Falls, W of Sunken Lake, Kings Co., one F seen from about 20 feet, working, never made a call. This would be about the fifth outing directed at this species, and Gray Jays. There are no further species that I can "dig out" in this way. Also enjoyed: Brown Creepers 2 and Golden-crowned Kinglets. -- Rick Whitman
