I for one wasn't disappointed with the eagle display.Now it did take a long
wait but still the drive into their feeding area is covered with eagles perched
on many of the older trees. I think anyone disappointed forgot to look 'up'
and missed them on the drive in. I feel that one magnificent eagle sitting on a
limb that almost overhangs the highway is much better then seeing them
swarm for dead chickens. Closer too.
This generation wants entertainment handed to them on a silver platter and
so they are missing the whole picture.
When we were at the feeding place there had to be hundreds of people plus
wall to wall photographers. Everyone was having a social good time while
waiting for the display and I feel that the 'social aspect' is just as important as
the eagles themselves.
Many thanks to the community for the plowed standing areas and the
opening of the community centre.
