6 Feb 2011 New DOWL (Depths Of Winter List) species are arriving quickly, and the list is now at 81 species, with many "easy" ones still unreported. I've also updated the overall winter total to include: Cape May Warbler - in HRM (Dennis Garrett) and Cape Breton, the latter with superb photos from the Murrants Little Gull - Cape Breton (more great Murrant photos) Common Gull - Ditto Tufted Duck - Ditto Field Sparrow - Kings County, by Liz Doull. This brings us to 189. We are still below our average of 195 species, but we may yet reach that target. The web site is: http://tinyurl.com/nswinter Cheers, Blake
