Went to the field at about 11 a.m. and there = were about 60 eagles in the trees. No action so we went to the hall and = came back at about 1 p.m. and were treated to quite a sight. I snapped = pictures for 20 minutes straight. At one point there were over 80 eagles = in the trees, in flight, and feeding. I got one really fabulous picture = with a bald eagle in flight, an immature one directly behind and both = have their wings in exactly the same position, even their talons are = level with the each other. Below them is another immature eagle, wings = in similar position. It has some food in its talons. It is just a really = neat shot. If anyone would like to see it, email me and I will send it = along. I took over 80 pics and only deleted 6. Wish I had Photoshop or = something because many of them just need a tiny touch up. Has anyone = used Picasa? Considering I don't have a big expensive camera, just a Sony Cybershot = with 10x zoom, I was amazed at the quality of what I got, especially = with so much movement of the birds I was trying to capture. I went last weekend and saw about 50 eagles but they stayed in the = trees. This was so much better. Also saw a flock of about 20 horned lark and last weekend coming back = saw a flock of about a dozen snow bunting that have been hanging around = 2 of the Windsor off/ on ramps of Highway 101 for over a week. Managed = to get pics of these as well though we did have to chase the snow = bunting around a bit Joyce ------=_NextPart_000_00BF_01CBC576.28D6A700 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META content=3D"text/html; charset=3Diso-8859-1" = http-equiv=3DContent-Type> <META name=3DGENERATOR content=3D"MSHTML 8.00.6001.18999"> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV><FONT size=3D2 face=3DArial>I took my exchange student from South = Korea and we=20 got away later than hoped to the Eagle Watch.
