John Loch's RED-BELLIED WOODPECKER at 58 Eaglewood in Bedford finally appeared for me this morning at 08:00. It foraged in the trees backing his house but didn't go down to the suet feeder in the 1/2 hour I was there. At Peggy's Cove there were 3 HARLEQUIN DUCKS, 5 HOODED MERGANSERS and 20 SNOW BUNTINGS. A GLAUCOUS GULL was at the Coast Guard wharf in Sambro. Our NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD returned to our yard after a couple of weeks of not seeing it. Don Don MacNeill donmacneill@eastlink.ca
