Hi all
Sorry abot that personal reply to Naturens meant for Joan.
In birding news, It was nice to hear a Great Horned Owl calling near the river below my house in Plymouth this morning as I picked up my Ch. Herald from the
mailbox before dawn this morning. I walked down the road a bit to see if I could see it and watched it fly over the road and to the old Weswray mine site behind
my house.
At the feeders today, I counted a maximum of 16 Tree Sparrows at one point. Nothing special at the feeders, but pair of Hairy and Downy
Woodpeckers, 2 Pheasants, MODO's, ROPI's, Goldfinch. BC Chickadees, Blue Jays, Crows, Starlings, 2 Ravens, and a couple of Juncos. No sign of the flock
of Ev. Grosbeaks (15) or so that were here yesterday and through the early winter.
cheers
ken
