Today, Nick and I drove out to Prospect where, lo and behold, a Red-winged 
Blackbird was perched on top of a tree.  I could clearly see the red coverts and 
promptly turned the car around, parked a little ways off and started taking out 
my camera gear.  As is often the case, no matter how fast you are, it was not 
fast enough to set up the camera gear to take a picture.  It flew off toward the 
middle and west of the town. We went to try to look for it but no luck finding 
it again.

At Sullivan's Pond we saw the American Coots (2), and an Eurasian Wigeon-the 
pictures are posted here:
