I was looking through the internet headlines last night and came = across it through BBC. Shortly after that I heard it on the 9pm news on = CBC.=20 From what I've read, some initial thoughts were: (And these aren't = mine, just what I've gleaned from the world wide interweb ) - hail at high altitudes ( really?) - New Year's Eve fireworks scared them to death- as they they flew off = quickly. ( again, really? ) - tornadoes were through the area earlier=20 - sonic booms - probably not poisoning as it was only thousands of red winged = blackbirds It will be interesting to see how this story progresses. Or if the = media feels it is important enough.
