There were the usuals: BB Gulls, Herring Gulls, American Black Ducks, Crows-however there was a sizeable flock of Canada Geese on the other side. We did not bother counting as we were trying our best to get pictures of 2 male Buffleheads and 1 female. Later on we saw 4 Common Redpoll, 1/2 dozen Golden Crowned Kinglets, 3 Boreal Chickadees, and 1 Black-capped Chickadee. We took pictures of the GC Kinglets and here is a picture. http://gallery.me.com/tumayoung#100448/Jipjij-Golden-crowned%20Kinglet&bgcolor=black By the way, Ian Maclaran has told me that I have taken a picture of a Horned Lark but not the Horned Lark he wants (Huh?). He explained that what I have is the Eremophila alpestris and what he really would like me is to get a shot of is the Eremophila alpestris hoyti. At first I thought he was kidding thinking he was referring to a "hoity-toity" bird but he is not kidding. So the search is still on folks! Any assistance would be appreciated. To Ken MacKinnon: We are planning to come to Truro tomorrow morning to try and get pictures of the Snow Buntings so where on the Truro Dyke lands were they spotted at?
