This morning there was another brief visit from a White-breasted Nuthatch. It appeared last Saturday, Dec 18th around 3pm, and was also seen Sunday from 10am until noon. Today it made a short visit, and was followed by a Red breasted Nuthatch, which made many trips to the suet feeders. There were also 8 Mourning Doves, 7 Starlings, 2 Song Sparrows, a dozen Am. Goldfinch, 4 Juncos, 2 BlueJays and a Crow. I heard several RBNU calling as I walked around the lake along Melwood this afternoon. Cheery but demanding sounds!
