Index of Subjects --Apple-Mail-809-953252589 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII; format=flowed; delsp=yes Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hi folks, As it transpires I also found this Yellow-throated Warbler today. I watched it at some length today in several areas adjacent to where Ian observed it. At the north end of the St. Mary's boat club property is a large concrete and brick "tower" (the function of which is unknown to me). Along the side of this tower is a long concrete wall, and below it are a couple of large stands of some sort of ornamental bush that has yellow and orange berries. I first spotted Yellow-throated Warbler in the company of a dozen chickadees and one goldfinch foraging along this wall (there is some Japanese knotweed and some other bushes that grow along it). Then it joined the chickadees in foraging in amongst the bushes with the yellow and orange berries, where it stayed for some time. It subsequently flew up over the wall to a pine that grows along Fairfield Road, then back down to a thick cedar above the aforementioned wall, and then down to a large pine just above the Jubilee condominium at the base of Jubilee Road. I should think it will be easy to locate this bird in this area with a little patience. I also found (to my considerable surprise) an Ovenbird, a Black-and- White Warbler, a Cardinal, and a Hermit Thrush in the south end today. If anyone is interested in locating these, give me a shout via email and I'll pass on directions. Altogether an excellent day. Best wishes!
