3 Dec 2010 - 1300 hours Some people are lucky enough to be out and about in this drizzly weather, and new additions to the winter list keep coming in. Kathleen Spicer (Apple River): Belted Kingfisher, Boreal Chickadee Johnny Nickerson (Cape Sable Island): Gadwall, Savannah Sparrow, Glaucous Gull, Ruddy Turnstone, House Sparrow Chris Pepper (Dartmouth): Long-tailed Duck, Boreal Chickadee, American Pipit, Black-headed Gull and Swamp Sparrow. I've updated the web page. We're now at 107 species. The forecast for tomorrow is not looking very promising, but perhaps Sunday will be more obliging. Good (and safe) winter birding, Blake
