--=====================_651112421==.ALT Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"; format=flowed Hi Everyone; In addition to Sandy Hiltz's reporting of Ring-necked Duck and Peregrine Falcon, I've been contacted by other observers contributing additions to the Nova Scotia winter list: Kathleen Spicer - Common Grackle, Common Loon , Northern Shrike, Common Redpoll, Evening Grosbeak , Yellow-rumped warbler ,White-winged crossbill, Snow Bunting Johnny Nickerson - Blue-winged Teal, Purple Finch, Yellow-rumped Warbler Verna Higgins - Brown-headed Cowbird, Red-winged Blackbird Dorothy Poole - American Robin, Common Loon, Red-winged Blackbird Rick Whitman and Bernard Forsythe - Northern Harrier, Ring-necked Pheasant, American Robin & Chipping Sparrow. (Note - Bernard is once again compiling a personal winter list consisting solely of those species he encounters on walks from his home.) I've posted these additions, which bring the total to 81 species. Lots of room for addtions, of course, but a nice start.
