Yes, indeed you can.   While they both give a call that is 
characterized as "yenk", the White-breasted is less nasal than 
Red-breasted, and the calls are a bit longer.   They are also usually 
faster and higher.  But it helps to hear them to get an idea.   You 
can hear them on the internet.
