Hi;

I went back to Spryfield around noon today to try and get a better look at the Vireo.  Ran into Bill & Shirley Hughes and Patricia Chalmers who told me that the Valley birders (Richard Stern, Bernard Forsythe, and Rick ?) had seen it earlier today.

After more than an hour of intensive scanning and listening, I was ready to give up and started back towards my car; and up ahead in the first big bush near the entrance to the path was the vireo!

It was very close to the ground, and darting back and forth, but this time I managed to get my binoculars on it and saw the light yellow along the flanks. This was definitely the same bird I saw on Friday.

Cheers;
Suzanne
