Hi; Twice today Patricia Chalmers and I drove onto Hwy #102 from the ramp off the Onslow Road at exit 14A, heading towards Truro (Exit #14) and saw a large swallow flycatching in the same spot: at the beginning of the concrete railing on the rht-hand side of the bridge over the Salmon River; maybe 100 meters? from the end of the on-ramp at exit 14A. The bird seemed large for a swallow, but the pointed wings and slightly notched tail were diagnostic. There's no place to pull over at that spot. You'd have to park your car on the Onslow Rd and walk down the on-ramp. Dangerous! You might be able to scope it from the Onslow Road, or the other side of the highway. Lots of traffic there. Anyone going to Onslow to see the Greylag Goose should keep their eyes open. From Hwy #102 to exit #14A (if you can pull off onto the shoulder of the exit ramp) - look across the highway - west. From the Onslow Road to Hwy 102 get onto the highway then look to your right hand side as you start across the bridge. Suzanne Borkowski
