--=====================_72723062==.ALT Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"; format=flowed 28 Oct 2010 There have been a couple of posts from people expressing uncertainty regarding the location of the Fairview Container Terminal Landfill in Peninsular Halifax. In response to this confusion, and to encourage folks to visit this bird-rich (though undeniably unattractive) location, I've prepared a couple of maps, which Dave Currie has thoughtfully vetted for accuracy. Any lingering mistakes are all mine, however. The two maps are located here: http://maybank.tripod.com/BSNS/Change/HRM-C.htm#Addition One is an overview of the area to aid driving to the location, while the second (further down the page) is a close-up of the landfill itself. There are written directions below the first map, and site suggestions below the second one. Feedback is welcome, of course.
