One of the reasons behind the apparent decline of at least some
populations of Canadian Yew may be the fact that it is now being harvested
for the production of an anti-cancer drug. Is it possible that it is being
overharvested locally?
Does anyone know whether there are licensing requirements for yew
pickers in Nova Scotia? Elsewhere in Canada?
