--Boundary_(ID_UqghfaIu5GFA8zVTab7RKQ) Content-type: text/plain; CHARSET=US-ASCII; delsp=yes; format=flowed Content-transfer-encoding: 7BIT OCT. 20, 2010 - About a week ago we noticed in the yard adjacent to ours, a Norway maple tree that looked strikingly weird, in that the top of the still-fully-leaved tree showed 6 bare unleaved leaders or upright stems straight up toward the sky, each leader about 2 metres long. This is a common sight in newly pruned apple trees, but quite unusual in residential trees in my experience.
