A lone female Bufflehead was seen diving in Hubley Cove (St Margaret's Bay) Saturday morning (16 Oct) for a few minutes, and then flew on to parts unknown.

The Yellow-rumped Warblers seem to have passed through. A large group of Robins was seen Thursday (14 Oct).

About ten days ago, a male Ring-necked Pheasant was seen, roadkill, on "Dead Fox Bend," the curve in Hwy 333 at the top of the slope on the north side of Seabright. The combination of a hill-slope down to the road on the landward side, and a curve with poor visibility, has also this year claimed several porcupines, as well as the local fox.
