Index of Subjects Not sure what you mean. Do you look for the times of embryonic development in the egg before larval stages hatch, or the time it takes from egg to the final adult stage? Tricky answer, since all insects have multiple larval or nymph stages before reaching adult stage, and depending on the kind of their post-embryonic development those immature stages resemble the adult stage a lot or not at all. It gets even more complicated since all this is highly temperature dependant, and periods of resting development are not uncommon. Furthermore abundance or lack of food during larval stages can also speed things up, or slow them down.
