For a good year, I have had a very limited number of birds here. Currently on a regular basis - one or two male goldfinches, one female goldfinch, 4 chickadees, one or two sparrows, 4 mourning doves, and the occasional small woodpecker. In addition to the usual customers, I was shocked to see between 20 and 30 goldfinches in my japanese maple tree this morning. They blended in well with the numerous seed pods so it was hard to get an accurate number. So it was a nice surprise with my breakfast esp considering the limited number of birds I've been seeing lately Joyce in Windsor
