This morning, while out in the back yard looking for warblers, I found the following: Wilson's Warbler - female Comm. Yellowthroat Dickcissel - a bright one! Rose-breasted Grosbeak - Juv. male lots of Wh.-thr. Sparrows lots of Song Sparrows 2 Flickers - male & female Red-eyed Vireo Bl.-headed Vireo R.T. Hummingbird - Juv. plus the usual Purple Finch, Goldfinch, Bluejays (starting to store food). Downy and Hairy Woodpeckers, Chickadees, Mourning Doves, Pheasants, and later in the day Junco, Red and White-breasted Nuthatches. Not a great warbler day, but some good birds! Lois Codling L.
