Hi All=2C

    I checked out Cabot Landing Beach yesterday to see if there were any 'E=
arl' fallouts up this way. Nothing was seen that could be credited to the s=
torm but the weather was not good (rain & gusty winds) so some of the gulls=
 & terns I saw=2C at a long distance=2C may have been rarities=2C but I don=
't think so.

    I did see and video a peep that seemed to be different (raspy call & fe=
eding in the ell grass=2C not at waters edge) and thought it might be a Bai=
rd's. I sent a photo to Ian McLaren and he confirmed it was an adult plumag=
e Baird's Sandpiper (thanks Ian). There were probably two or three more Bai=
rd's (they were in the dunes & also on eel grass) but I was only able to co=
nfirm the one.=20

    It's a lifer for me and that doesn't happen much any more.

    Some other observations were=3B Northern Gannet=2C Terns (sp)=2C Common=
 Loon=2C Greater Yellowlegs=2C Semipalmated Plover & Black-bellied Plover.=
=20

    All the best.
