Hi, I was at the east end of Grand Pre at the very high tide this afternoon. It was hot, sunny, clear and calm. The "peeps" put on a spectacular show, with flocks in the thousands wheeling about and at times landing on the rocks right at my feet. At least 2 Peregrines were chasing them at times. The usual 4 species were present, plus a few Dowitchers and Semi. Plovers. There were also many Black swallowtail butterflies. Lots of photo and video ops, and some time this w/e I'll post a gallery.
