I am forwarding the notice below for Don Davis of Monarch Butterfly
Fund. See the website

By the way, we have over 10 eggs and small caterpillars inside eating
milkweed leaves. When they are big enough to fend off predators we put
them out in the milkweed patch for them to gorge and then do their magic
transformation. We have had four emerge already and have five
chrysalises hanging ready to produce Monarchs.

========================= Notice =================

Hi Larry:

"Teaching and Learning with Monarch Butterflies" workshop will be held August 26-27/2010 in the Old Orchard Inn, Wolfville, Nova Scotia and presented by the Monarch Teacher Network. There are apparently a few openings available. The link to the workshop brochure is as follows: http://tinyurl.com/26g5ur4.

Successful workshops have been completed in Toronto and Richmond Hill, Ontario, with another in Ottawa before the Nova Scotia workshop. I first attended one of these workshops in 2004 and also in 2008, and can vouch for the quality of learning opportunities this workshop affords.

Thank you
Donald A. Davis, U.E.
