While in Freeport yesterday I decided to walk the new trail there with
my family. There weren't many birds to see. I did manage to catch a
glimpse of a Grey Catbird. There was another catbird towards the end
of the trail. I also saw 4 harbour porpoise's in the channel.

I noticed alot of Cedar Waxwings and a few Red Crossbills around the
place where I was staying.

We went on a whale watching tour on Friday evening. We got to see 5
Humpbacks and 1 Minke on the trip. No out of the ordinary birds were
seen, but it was my first time seeing all of the phalaropes (red & red
necked). There were too many to count. Other birds seen on the trip:
- Gr. Shearwater
- Sooty Shearwater
- Atlantic Puffin
- Wilson's Storm Petrel
- N. Gannet

I was told about an eagle's nest near Freeport as well.
