I received a tip yesterday on a rare orchid called... Dwarf Rattlesnake =
Plantain ; Goodyera repens. Went today in the rain and captured it, =
setting was a mature stand of hemlock on a small ridge. I was pushed =
from the heavy rain, which reminds me to take an umbrella for shooting =
in such conditions as I could have done much better, I got soaked too. I =
might go back on a better day to take more time with this beauty and =
look around further, lots of forest mushrooms popping up now too. Also =
seen a Large Purple Fringed Orchid on the side of the road. You can see =
the Dwarf Rattlesnake Orchid here... =
