I just want to add to what already has been posted in this matter
that NatureNS is a major source of information for those of us who
compile the quarterly reports for NSBird (published by the NS Bird
Society).
Therefore not only rare or reportable species are of interest. We are
interested in all bird sightings you consider significant to let the
world know!
For this kind of data collecting noting location and time of sighting
is obviously critical. For rare sightings (i.e. Golden Eagle, Little
Egret ...) a short description of observed field marks that led to
the ID would be an asset, especially for those species that have
potential for mis-ID with a locally more common species (i.e.
immature Bald Eagle, Snowy Egret).

Thanks

Ulli

P.S. If one has not received an issue of NSBirds in the past few
weeks, chances are that you NS Bird Society membership has expired.
So far two 2010 issues has been published and mailed out.
