--0016e68ee1e8ce61e104899ed31a Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 Hi, At yesterday evening's BNS meeting, Avril Harwood reported that she recently saw a bird fly by on her property (Woodside, NW of Canning), and from her description, and also her own ID when she looked it up in a field guide, there's a high probability that it was a Fork-tailed Flycatcher. She described a bird whose body reminded her a bit of a Junco, and the extremely long tail waved up and down as it flew. The bird appeared generally dark in appearance, rather than light gray. So Valley birders - keep an eye out in that area! Richard -- ################# Richard Stern, 317 Middle Dyke Rd.
