Index of Subjects I have a family of red crossbills attending the feeders regularly - two adults and three juveniles, which are almost as big as their parents. Many purple finches still around, an occasional goldfinch and the robins seem overly abundant this year. Hummer activity is about normal and there have been several RB nuthatches around just this week. My hermit thrush nest has been abandoned and the four young, I fear, were lost to predators. The adults are still around. Ken MacAulay Port Mouton, NS
