Canadian Sea Turtle Network -- In this talk, Laura will be describing =20=

sea turtles in Nova Scotia and the efforts of the Canadian Sea Turtle =20=

Network to conserve these animals. She will also share some of the =20
outcomes from  research and volunteer programs.

Laura Bennett is Coordinator of Conservation and Community Outreach =20
with The Canadian Sea Turtle Network. The CSTN is a non-profit =20
organization involving scientists, commercial fishermen, and coastal =20
community members that works to conserve endangered sea turtles in =20
Canadian waters and worldwide.

P.S. See the May issue of Smithsonian magazine, currently still on =20
newsstands, for a three-page article on trying to save the most =20
endangered species of sea turtle, the Kemp's ridley, occurring in =20
fall on Cape Cod beaches (and also some in the Bay of Fundy).=
