Andy & Lelia

I've pretty well eliminated the frog sounds. I'm quite sure it isn't a =
bullfrog.

Have you considered a bull frog?

I heard the sounds again this morning, in the same general vicinity. =
I happened to be walking past the spot when it made its sounds (a =
thick, narrow strip of trees and bushes separates the path from the high =
reeds at the edge of the marsh at this point, so impossible to get a =
sighting). =20

Phonetically, this is what it sounded like: =
"grrk-grrk-grrk-grrk-grrk-grrk-grrk-grrk", all at the same pitch, very =
low-pitched, fairly loud, and more throaty rather than a clear sound.

Does this help with its identification?? =20
