I = think that the Tri-coloured Heron is also present but due to the bird's = distant location I was not able to identify it positively. One of the = ID pictures in the gallery linked below shows the bird with a couple of = GB Herons beside him. He is very blue and has a rusty neck but = yellowish legs. The picture is not great but it's the best one I got. My list from Cow Bay Marsh this morning included the following: Killdeer - 1 Spotted Sandpiper - 1 Great Egret - 1 Tri-coloured Heron - 1 (maybe) Eider Hens - 6 Eider ducklings - 12 Great Blue Herons - 15 Willets - 5 Lesser Yellowlegs - 3 American Goldfinch - 7 I have added pictures of these birds to my June gallery at: = http://scranlocker.smugmug.com/photos/swfpopup.mg?AlbumID=3D12394789&Albu= mKey=3DFhcET Paul Murray Dartmouth ------=_NextPart_000_000D_01CB0A36.C0B48980 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META content=3Dtext/html;charset=3Diso-8859-1 = http-equiv=3DContent-Type> <META name=3DGENERATOR content=3D"MSHTML 8.00.7600.16588"></HEAD> <BODY style=3D"PADDING-LEFT: 10px; PADDING-RIGHT: 10px; PADDING-TOP: = 15px"=20 id=3DMailContainerBody leftMargin=3D0 topMargin=3D0 = CanvasTabStop=3D"true"=20 name=3D"Compose message area"> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial>June 12, 2010</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial>12:00</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial>Cow Bay Birds</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial>Hi All,</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial>The Great Egret is still resident in the Cow Bay = Marsh=20 this morning.
