--0016e640973acaa5530488d25b9b Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed; delsp=yes A couple of nights ago I heard a Canada Warbler singing on the Blue Mountain trail near Hammonds Plains, NS. Perhaps not all that noteworthy this time of year, but the MBBA online data doesn't have one sighted in that square yet (Timberlea square). For those hiking the path, it was near the second brook on the footpath section of the trail, in dense woods. You would have to get lucky to actually see it, I think. It is a pretty nice trail, even without the warbler, particularly once you get off the dirt road and onto the footpath. Lots of bird activity throughout, hares and deer, and a great view at the top.
