It was the vocalizations that he said sound like those of juveniles (that he has listened to online--this is all very new for him). He says they sound just like the juvenile vocalizations you can hear at this link: http://home.centurytel.net/bobowlcalls/Barred_Owl_calls.htm#juveniles He has heard this over the past few days, around 6-7AM.
