Gail: He may have been talking about the American Oyster Catchers that nest=
 there. They are large. Not geese though. We have 'heard' that it is actual=
ly too windy on Cape Sable Island for wind turbines. There are wind turbine=
s near by in West Pubnico. Lynne=2C Shelburne County.=20

FYI.=20
We were doing some city birding this evening (Wed.) and a stranger stopped =
us and asked if we knew large geese like birds from the Cape Sable Island a=
rea? He said he had just spent 10 days in the area and saw these large bird=
s. Then he told us a company was looking at wind turbines in that area. Per=
haps this is already well know=2C but just in case it is new news to some..=
.
